Energy consumption analysis

Energy consumption analysis (SVE Analyze): we read your invoices, study the load profile and identify the specific places where your cost comes down. An audit with a savings plan, not general advice.

First understand where your electricity really goes

Energy consumption analysis (SVE Analyze) is an audit of invoices, the hourly load profile and the tariff, ending with the specific places where energy is lost and how to remove them. The first recommendations usually produce a saving with no investment at all, and for customers with solar they show how to raise self-consumption. This is the second level of energy management at Sun Valley Energy: monitoring (SVE Detect) shows what is happening with your energy in real time, and analysis goes further. We take twelve months of invoices, the hourly load profile, the tariff and the contracted capacity, then point directly at where money is being lost. We do not stop at charts. Every recommendation, from a tariff change to shifting when equipment runs, is translated into its real effect on the bill. You receive a report with actions ordered from the cheapest and fastest to those that require investment.

Energy management dashboard with consumption charts

Why it is worth it

You know where the money leaks

We break the bill into its parts: which appliances, which hours and which months create the largest cost. No more guessing what pushes the invoice up.

Concrete recommendations, not general advice

You get a list of actions rather than a collection of tips. Each one carries the saving and the cost, so you know immediately where to start.

First savings without investment

Some recommendations are a change of tariff, contracted capacity or operating hours. Those show up on the next invoice, with no spend on equipment.

Better tariff and contracted capacity

We check whether you pay for energy and for connection capacity on the right terms. A tariff or capacity correction alone often lowers the fixed cost.

More from your own solar

If you have panels or a battery, we show how to move consumption into generating hours and raise self-consumption instead of exporting.

A report that stays with you

Conclusions arrive in writing, with charts and a calculated return. You implement at your own pace and come back to it for later decisions.

Advantages and limits

Pros
  • A specific savings plan

A list of actions with a calculated effect on the bill, ordered from the cheapest to the investment-grade.

  • Fast results without equipment

A change of tariff, contracted capacity or operating hours lowers cost on the very next invoice.

  • A basis for good decisions

Before you buy a battery, a heat pump or automation, you know whether and how it pays back in your case.

  • Works for homes and companies

For a company the analysis also covers contracted capacity, the power profile and the data behind reporting.

Cons
  • The analysis alone does not lower the bill

Savings appear once the recommendations are implemented. The report shows the route; you take the step.

  • It needs credible data

The best results come from twelve months of invoices plus meter or monitoring data. Without them the conclusions are less precise.

  • Some actions require investment

The fastest savings are free, but the full potential is often closed by storage, PV or automation.

The process

Data and invoices

We ask for twelve months of invoices, meter or monitoring data, and details of the installation and larger appliances. The fuller the picture, the sharper the conclusions.

Profile analysis and loss points

We study when and how much energy you use across the day and the year, and how that sits against your tariff. We identify the specific cost sources: a poorly matched tariff, oversized contracted capacity, equipment running in expensive hours, low self-consumption from PV.

Report with recommendations

You receive a report with actions ordered by return. Each one carries an estimated saving, a cost and a payback time, so decisions are informed.

Support during implementation

We go through the report, answer questions and help implement the recommendations, from a tariff change to selecting automation (SVE Optimize) if you decide to take the next step.

What does energy consumption analysis cost?

Consumption analysis for a home invoice audit + report with recommendations individual quote
Consumption analysis for a company power profile, tariff, ESG data individual quote
Monitoring (SVE Detect) measurement and app, the starting point for analysis from PLN 1,500
Optimisation (SVE Optimize) automation and control after the analysis individual quote

For Sun Valley Energy customers with a PV or storage installation, a basic analysis is sometimes part of the project. We quote the full scope after a short conversation about your data and your goals.

Your questions answered

What is energy consumption analysis?
It is an audit in which we read your invoices, the hourly load profile and the tariff, then point to the specific loss points and the calculated way to remove them. The first recommendations usually deliver a saving without investment, and we size that saving on your own invoices.
How does analysis differ from energy monitoring?
Monitoring (SVE Detect) measures generation and consumption in real time and shows them in an application. Analysis (SVE Analyze) goes a step further: it reads invoices, the tariff and the hourly load profile, and identifies the specific losses and how to remove them. Monitoring shows what is happening. Analysis says what to do about it.
What data is needed for the analysis?
Ideally twelve months of electricity invoices, details of the tariff and contracted capacity, and meter or monitoring data if you have it. Information about larger loads (heat pump, air conditioning, electric car) and about any PV installation also helps. The fuller the picture, the more precise the conclusions.
How much can I save through the analysis?
The first recommendations, for example a tariff change, a capacity correction or shifting when equipment runs, most often deliver a saving with no investment, but its size depends on your tariff and load profile. Further potential depends on whether you decide on automation, storage or solar. In the report every recommendation carries an estimated saving calculated on your own data.
What does the analysis cost?
We quote analysis (SVE Analyze) individually, because scope depends on whether it is a home or a company, how many sites are involved and how detailed your data is. The starting point is monitoring (SVE Detect) from PLN 1,500, and for Sun Valley Energy customers with a PV or storage installation a basic analysis is sometimes part of the project. We give the exact cost after a short conversation about your data and your goals.
Does analysis make sense without solar PV?
Yes. The analysis works whether or not you have panels. For a home without PV we most often find savings in the tariff, the contracted capacity and the hours in which appliances run. If you do have PV or a battery, we additionally show how to raise self-consumption and export less.
How does this differ from a building energy audit?
A building energy audit focuses on insulation, heating and the energy performance of the building, often for a thermal-modernisation relief or a grant. Our consumption analysis looks at electricity itself: the load profile, the tariff, the contracted capacity and how appliances run. Two different things that complement each other well.
What do I receive at the end?
A report with load-profile charts, a list of concrete recommendations and the calculated effect of each on the bill. Actions are ordered from the cheapest and fastest to those requiring investment, so you know at once where to begin. The report stays with you and supports later decisions.
Do you help implement the recommendations?
Yes. After handing over the report we go through it with you and help with implementation, from a tariff change, through setting operating hours, to selecting automation (SVE Optimize), storage or solar if you decide on the next step. We are a partner for the whole lifecycle of the installation.
Is the analysis for homes or for companies?
For both. In a home we focus on the tariff, the contracted capacity and how appliances run. In a company the analysis additionally covers the power profile, contracted capacity cost and the data required for consumption reporting and ESG targets. We always fit the scope to the scale and the number of sites.
